Cub Programme (Wednesday Pack)

Cubs will resume after the Easter break on Wednesday April 17th.

The programme below relates to the Wednesday night sessions only; in due course, the sessions will be aligned. Please select here for the Tuesday night programme.

 MAY  1 Cycle check  Yes This will take place at Cheddington Recreation Ground at the usual session times. Cubs will need to wear a helmet, otherwise they will not be able to take part in the activity. We will also require additional parental helpers to be able to run the activity safely.
   8 Climbing Wall   

This will be at Green Park, Aston Clinton starting at 7.30pm and ending at 9.30pm. The cost of the session will be £3.00 per cub, payable on the night.

   15 Annual Cycle Challenge  

Cubs Cycle Challenge. Wednesday 15th May 2013 @ 6:30pm. Finishing ~8pm    Leader: James Bell

Directions:Take the road to Ringshall from the B489. Proceed up the hill and past the Beacon and thenpast the car park on the left that normally hosts an ice cream van. We will be a few hundred metres on the right hand side just before the cattle grid.

Plan:Cubs have been divided into two groups:Monument (Ikki: 4 miles + snack time - see route below) & Aldbury (Shere Khan: 9 miles/1 hour cycling/15 mins snack). All cubs will be back at the start location by 8pm - please be punctual picking cubs up.

Bring: Bike, helmet, (water and snack will be provided at the monument). You do not need to bring your scarf.

   22 Naturalist badge  Yes

 This week's session will be at the scout hut at the usual session times of 7.00pm to 8.15pm. We will be starting to work towards the naturalist badge by making a couple of things which will encourage visitors to our gardens.

Parent helpers would be very much appreciated.
